One of the most anticipated activities of sunny weather is always getting back to cooking over the fire! Cast iron is especially versatile and handy in outdoor cooking and we try to bring our castiron skillets with us on any overnight adventure in the PNW. That being said, backyard cooking is a perfect place for castiron and open flame:)
Stuffed Trout
One of our best summer cookouts was this castiron beauty done over the fire at home. Though a slower cook, over the fire cooking in a castiron skillet brings a unique flavor to seafood of all types.
